Terms of service
Effective October 9, 2026
These are the terms for using userig.com, Rig Operations and Rig Recruiting. They are written in plain language on purpose, and they are still a contract.
1. The agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and Prepped Group LLC, a California limited liability company (“Rig,” “we” or “us”) for the website at userig.com and the Rig service, including Rig Operations and Rig Recruiting. By using the site, sending an application, joining the waitlist or using Rig, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a team or brokerage, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it, and “you” includes it.
2. Applications and the waitlist
Sending an application or joining the waitlist creates no obligation on either side. We bring teams on by hand, we may accept or decline any application, and we decide which teams join Rig Recruiting as founding teams. Nothing is owed until a subscription starts.
3. Rig Operations subscriptions
Rig Operations is sold as a monthly subscription. Your plan is set by the number of licensed agents on your team, and you agree to tell us when that number crosses into a different plan. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing rig@userig.com, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months. Prices for the plan you are on will not change without at least 30 days’ notice by email. A one-time setup fee applies to new teams and is stated on the pricing page. It is waived for founding teams. If a payment fails, we will let you know, and we may suspend the account if it is not resolved within 10 days. Taxes, where they apply, are added to the price.
4. Rig Recruiting
Rig Recruiting is offered first to founding teams from the waitlist, under an addendum that covers the monthly add-on and the wholesale seat per student. The courses themselves are provided by our licensing school, which is approved by the California Department of Real Estate, under the school’s own enrollment terms. Approval of a course by the California Department of Real Estate does not constitute an endorsement of the course or its provider. Nothing in Rig requires a student to join any team or brokerage. Every student finishes their courses, receives their certificates and chooses freely, and you agree not to condition a student’s course access on joining you.
5. Accounts and roles
The person who opens a team account is its owner and is responsible for it, including everyone the team invites and everything they do in Rig. Keep your sign-in details private, use the roles Rig provides to limit access, and tell us right away at rig@userig.com if you think an account has been compromised.
6. Your content and data
Everything your team puts into Rig belongs to your team. You give us permission to store, process, display and transmit it only as needed to run the service, keep it secure and follow your instructions. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for the accuracy of the contact information your team enters. On request from an owner, we will export your team’s content in a common format, and we delete it after an account closes, as described in our privacy policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use Rig lawfully and in keeping with fair housing law, real estate licensing law and consumer protection law. In particular, you will not use Rig to send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, you will follow the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the CAN-SPAM Act when your team texts or emails anyone through Rig, and you will not upload content you have no right to use. You will not share a single login across people, try to access another team’s data, reverse engineer or copy the service, or use automated tools to scrape it.
8. Integrations
Rig connects to services your team chooses, such as Google, Slack, Brivity, Follow Up Boss, our email provider and our text messaging provider. Each of those services has its own terms, which apply to your use of it. We are not responsible for those services, for changes they make or for interruptions they cause. When you connect a service, you confirm that you are allowed to share the information involved.
9. Coach and other AI features
Coach and the other AI features in Rig can be wrong. They read documents, fill in forms, summarize and suggest, but they do not replace your judgment, and nothing they produce is legal, financial, tax or licensing advice. You are responsible for checking anything important before you rely on it. Where Coach can take an action, such as posting to Slack or checking in a lockbox, it does so only after a person confirms.
10. Availability and support
We work to keep Rig available and to fix problems quickly, and we may take the service down briefly for maintenance. Some features are labeled as beta, which means they may change or be withdrawn. Support is by email at support@userig.com.
11. Our intellectual property
Rig, its software, its designs and its trademarks belong to Prepped Group LLC and its licensors. These terms give you a limited right to use the service during your subscription and nothing more. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
12. Confidentiality
Each of us will protect the other’s confidential information, use it only for this relationship and share it only with people who need it and are bound to protect it. This does not cover information that is public, already known or independently developed, and it allows disclosure when the law requires it.
13. Disclaimer
Rig is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not promise any particular business result, hire, closing or recruiting outcome.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, however caused. Our total liability for anything arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. These limits do not apply to a party’s breach of confidentiality, its indemnity obligations or anything the law does not allow to be limited.
15. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Prepped Group LLC against claims, damages and costs that arise from your content, your use of Rig in violation of these terms or the law, or messages your team sends through Rig.
16. Term and termination
These terms apply for as long as you use the site or the service. Either of us may end a subscription as described in section 3. We may suspend or end an account immediately if it is used in a way that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts other customers, students or the service at risk. Sections 6, 11 through 15 and 17 survive termination.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If a dispute comes up, we each agree to try to resolve it by talking first, with at least 30 days of good faith effort after one of us gives written notice. Any claim that is not resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and we each consent to their jurisdiction.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for changes that matter we will email the address we have for your team at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Rig after that date means you accept the updated terms.
19. Everything else
These terms, our privacy policy and any addendum you sign with us are the whole agreement between us about Rig. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not assign these terms without our consent, and we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
